Lettlopi 10 ply Icelandic Wool


 More Lopi arrived 20 August! Just a limited number of colours, but hooray!

Unfortunately due to covid-related production issues we aren't able to get more Lopi at this time ūüėē We'll keep checking in with the distributor and re-stock as soon as we can.

Léttlopi produces garments that are comfortable to wear indoors or outdoors. Léttlopi (or lopi lite) yarn is a rustic, hard working garment yarn. 

100% new wool. 50 g (1.7 oz) approx. 100 m (109 yd).


Gauge: 18 sts to 10 cm (4") over St st using size 4¬Ĺ - 5 mm (Old UK 7-6) (US 7-8).

Produced by Istex in Iceland, who buy wool directly from the farmers in Iceland and then process it to yarn. The wool scouring is located in the town Blönduós in north of the country and the spinning mill in the town Mosfellsbaer nearby Reykjavik.
